Lafayette

City of Lafayette.
The Highlights.

Lafayette is part of Boulder County.

Lafayette is located on the eastern portion of Boulder County.

Lafayette has it's own downtown, "Old Town Lafayette" on South Public Road.. The downtown has been working on a revitalization program to enhance the area.

Waneka Lake is a popular recreation area. There are paddle boats for rent, grills, playgrounds, trails, and courts.

Another favorite place in the summer is the Great Outdoors Waterpark. They have slides and a lazy river!

Lafayette used to be considered a cheaper place to live for those who work in Boulder. As Louisville started to fill up, spread moved into Lafayette and newer homes are currently being built over the $1.6m price tag. As Lafayette continues to update Old Town, this city's housing market is on a major upwards trend.

Lafayette has a downtown area called "Old Town" and has many new and newer housing developments. The city has been revitalizing downtown, and many of the newer housing developments are creating luxury homes starting at the $1.5+ million price point. The value of these homes are continuing to rise as the popularity of the location and updated downtown are major draws to the area.
